When you think of Moab you probably think of outdoor adventure and extreme sports, and you’re not wrong. But the small downtown has some really wonderful street art. If you take a walk around you’ll see plenty of murals done by local artists.
Many of these awesome works are a part of the Moab Arts and Recreation Center, a community organization committed to arts of all kinds from fine art to dance. They run art classes for kids and adults, put on exhibitions, and even have a small co-working space in their building.
I spent a day wandering around downtown Moab and found these awesome works of art! I’d highly recommend taking a walk around and seeing some of the public art, it’s also always changing so you might find some new ones!
